This Managing Solaris 11 for Experienced Solaris 10 Systems Administrators course is aimed at IT staff who need to understand the essential differences in carrying out their current tasks in a Solaris 11 environment.
By the end of the course the delegate should be able to install a Solaris 11 system, manage software packages with IPS, install remote systems automatically, configure the Solaris 11 network environment, create a virtual network, manage network failover, configure SMF to report service faults automatically, assigns users administration tasks with sudo and describe other differences between Solaris 11 and Solaris 10.
